Short Term Accommodation
Tailored Support Services offers NDIS participants short term accommodation (STA) to help them live more independently. Our STA services are delivered as part of our supported independent living (SIL) program and can be used for a range of purposes including:
- When you first start receiving NDIS supports and are looking for somewhere to live
- When you need a break from your usual living situation
- When you are transitioning from one living arrangement to another
Our short term accommodation is available for a single day, weekend, a quick holiday or longer stay, depending on the individual’s needs. It is a safe and comfortable place for NDIS participants to stay while they are looking for more permanent accommodation.
We also provide support for children in emergency cases. If a child needs to get out of an abusive environment, we are able to house them short term.
Based in Maroochydore, we organise accommodation for clients throughout the Sunshine Coast including Noosa, Buderim, Caloundra, Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek, Bli Bli and surrounding areas.

To access NDIS funding for short term accommodation, you must have this listed as a support in your NDIS plan. If you do not have STA listed as a support, you can speak to your NDIS planner or local area coordinator about adding it to your plan.
